Obtained: Through the mail. Sent: September 8, 2006 c/o Home; Received: September 20, 2006. Twelve Days.

"The Bull" made four straight NL All-Star squads from 1975-'78 after being drafted 11th overall in the 1968 by the Phillies. The '75 season proved to be a coming out party for Luzinski when he finished second in NL MVP voting behind Joe Morgan, where as '77 cemented Luzinski as a top outfielder, when he hit 39 homeruns and batted in 130 runs, both career highs, while again finishing second in MVP voting to a Red, this time, George Foster. Greg was on three straight NL East champion Phillies teams from '76-'78 before winning the 1980 World Series as part of the Philadelphia squad that beat the Royals in six games. Mr. Luzinski kindly signed my card and returned in twelve days. Thanks, Bull!
