Bob Kurland Index Card

Bob signed and personalized my index card in ten days from his home address. Mr. Kurland won two straight national titles at Oklahoma A&M (now Oklahoma State) in 1945 and 1946 and was the first player to win two Olympic Gold Medals in basketball. A pre-NBA star, Kurland decided to remain an amatuer even once the NBA was formed in order to fulfill his dreams and goals of being a two-time Olympian. Mr. Kurland graciously answered some questions I had about playing against New York University in the NCAA championships, specifically about Dolph Schayes. Thanks Mr. Kurland!
