Bobby spent his entire twelve year career with the New York Yankees after signing as a free agent at age seventeen in 1953. An ace at second base, Richardson was a seven time AL All-Star and won five straight Gold Gloves from '61-'65. Strangley, Bobby retired after the 1966 season, after his fifth straight All-Star appearance at age 30. Richardson holds the distinction of being the only player from a losing team to win the World Series MVP (1960). Bobby signed and returned my card and personalized my protective index card. Thanks Mr. Richardson!
