Score played for eight seasons, splitting time between the Indians and the White Sox. He won the 1955 Rookie of the Year award after posting a 16-10 record and a 2.85 ERA. He would make the All-Star team that year, as well as the next in 1956. Injuries seemingly slowed him down as he would pitch only one more full season as a starter after 1956.
