Jim McMahon 2005 Topps All-American
Obtained: Through the mail. Sent: September 6, 2006, c/o Home; Received: September 18, 2006. Thirteen days.
Jim was drafted in the first round in 1982 by the Chicago Bears after being selected as a First-Team All-American from Bringham Young in 1981. McMahon went on to win a Super Bowl as the punky QB with the shufflin' 1985 Bears, as well as making the Pro Bowl that year. Was on the 1996 Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers squad as a back-up to Brett Farve and retired after fifteen seasons in the NFL. Mr. McMahon kindly signed and returned my All-American card in thireteen days care of his home address. Thanks Mr. McMahon!
