Born in Nitro, WV, Lew Burdette amassed 203 wins over an eighteen year career. Lew was the MVP of the 1957 World Series champion Milwaulkee Braves and made the NL All-Star team in both 1957 and 1959. Led the NL in ERA in '59 and '61, wins in '59, and complete games in '60. Lew quickly signed my card and index card in thirteen days. Thanks Mr. Burdette!
