Newsome was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1999 after thirteen seasons as the face of the Cleveland Browns. Played for the Alabama Crimson Tide and was a first team All-American in 1977. Ozzie kindly signed my card and returned it in nine days. Thanks Mr. Newsome!
