P.J., as he was preferably called, had a cup of tea in the Majors at the age of 27. In fourteen MLB at-bats, he struck out nine times, including his first at-bat, in which he mimmicked his father's batting stance. Was originally a twelfth round pick of the Baltimore Orioles in 1988 before playing pinball around various minor league affiliates throughout the league.
