Al Kaline

Mr. Kaline is one of the absolute best signers out there, along with fellow former Tigers Sparky Anderson and George Kell. Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1980, Al could do it all; in 1955 he led the AL in BA with an .340 average while in 1959 he led the AL in slugging, at a .530 clip. In his 22 seasons, Kaline made fifteen AL All-Star teams, all with the Tigers, while compiling 3007 hits, 399 homeruns, a .297 average, and ten Gold Gloves in eleven seasons from '57-'67. Mr. Kaline is a great signer c/o the Tigers and a true class act, Hall of Fame player.
