A storied franchise that finally broke the curse in 2004, the Red Sox have tallied up eleven pennants and six World Series wins. Not the first team in Boston, that honor goes to the Boston Red Caps, who would become the Beaneaters and then the Braves, the Red Sox were an innagural American League team in 1901, as the Boston Americans.
