Face pitched sixteen years in the Majors, spending most of his days with the Pirates as a reliever. He finished out his career as a member of the innagural 1969 Montreal Expos squad. He made three straight All-Star games from '59-'61, whilst notching an 18-1 season in 1959 and contributing on the winning end the 1960 World Series.
