Garrett always seems to be one of those guys who flies under the radar but is definately integral to the success of his teams. He finished second in the Rookie of the Year voting to Marty Cordova in 1995 but has not only stayed around baseball longer but also has become more of a star.
Anderson has made three All-Star squads, won two Silver Sluggers, and took home the 2003 All-Star Game MVP trophy, as well as the Home Run Derby championship that year. Was a very important cog in the Angels who won the World Series.
Mr. Anderson is one of the true class guys of baseball; he loves the kids, fan interaction. He soaks everything in. He's definately a good place to send your first autograph request; he signs everything and does so in a timely manner. Thanks Garrett!
