George Tsamis 1994 Topps (3)
Obtained: In person, 2000 as Allentown batboy.
I root for a few teams and the Twins are one of them; always felt they do things the right way in baseball. George was a blink and you'll miss him type reliever in the 1993 season for the Twinkies. 1-2 record in 41 games with a 6.19 ERA. He played for Stetson University and was drafted in the 15th round of the 1989 draft.
Definately one of my scarier autographs, as Mr. Tsamis was always so no nonsense and had the must-win attitude. Amazingly, I asked him to sign my cards, which he obviously did, but the funny part to this story is I gave him two to sign with a third in my hand. George asks me "Can you give me that one so I can sign it for ya?" Thanks Mr. Tsamis, of course I can!
