Obtained: Purchased as part of lot on eBay, October 2006.
Roberts was drafted in the eigth round of the 1989 draft by the Toronto Blue Jays, but never saw Major League action. 1998 was his last year of organized professional ball, where at age 27, played Double-A as a switch-hitting outfielder for Double-A Greenville in the Atlanta Braves system.
