Ohio State University
The Ohio State Buckeyes played their first game on May 3, 1890 against Ohio Wesleyan University and have not looked back. Since that game, the Buckeyes, named after the state of Ohio's state tree, have won seven national championships, have had six heisman winners, have won the Big Ten 31 times, and are 4-0 in BCS games.
