Ricky was the Philadelphia Phillies first round pick, twenty-second overall, in 1983. He hit .308 in his rookie season, playing 69 games at first base, finishing eighth in the 1988 Rookie of the Year balloting. He would split time at first with John Kruk after his conversion to first base; his final season with the Phillies would be 1994. In 1996, he would sign on with the Seattle Mariners, retiring after the season's end. Ricky kindly signed all three cards I sent in seven days care of his home address. Thanks Mr. Jordan!
