"Stan the Man" played twenty-two seasons for the St. Louis Cardinals, making the National League All-Star team for the final twenty years of his career. Musial finished with a .331 career average and 475 homeruns, three MVPs, seven batting titles, and retired fourth all-time in hits and second in total bases. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1969. Stan kindly sent this postcard to me when I requested an autograph in seven days; thanks Mr. Musial!
