Davey Coggin 1997 Best
Obtained: Purchased as part of lot on eBay, October 2006.
Coggin was the Phillies' first round pick, thirtieth overall, in the 1995 draft out of high school. He would pitch in parts of three seasons for the Phils, including a spot on the 2001 rotation that hung on for dear life as it battled the Braves for a playoff spot. Coggin has not seen Major League action since August 28, 2002, and has since seen minor league action in the Colorado and Tampa Bay farm systems, most recently pitching in 2005 for the Rays' farm clubs.
