Mike was drafted in the tenth round of the 1991 draft by the Philadelphia Phillies. Grace's debut came on September 1, 1995 in a loss against the San Diego Padres. He would spend most of his time as a starting pitcher for the Phils, compiling a 16-16 record with a 4.96 ERA in five Major League seasons.
