The Brewers joined the Major Leagues as the Seattle Pilots in 1969 before moving to Milwaukee after one season. They have only one pennant, the 1982 American League pennant, losing to the St. Louis Cardinals in the World Series. The Brewers have four numbers retired: 4, Paul Molitor, 19, Robin Yount, 34, Rollie Fingers, and 44, Hank Aaron.
