Bill was the thirteenth overall selection in the 1987 draft, taken by the Milwaulkee Brewers. Surprised many by outplaying Gary Sheffield in 1989 as a rookie to take the starting shortstop role for the Brewers. Bill quickly and graciously signed all four of my cards and returned them in a very timely manner. Thanks Mr. Spiers!
