Woodard was taken in the fifth round of the 1994 draft by the Milwaukee Brewers. He would reach the Majors with the Brewers in 1997, going 3-3 in seven games started. Steve would play six more seasons across four teams, racking up a 32-36 record, with a 4.94 ERA.
