Punto was taken in the 21st round of the 1998 draft by the Philadelphia Phillies. He made his Major League debut on September 9, 2001 against the Montreal Expos, going 1 for 1. Punto has now played six seasons between Philadelphia and Minnesota and was able to win the starting third base job for the Twins in the 2006 season. Nick signed my card in 65 days; thanks Mr. Punto!
