Mike Hampton 1996 Leaf Signature

Mike was drafted in the sixth round of the 1990 draft by the Seattle Mariners. He would make his Major Leauge debut for them in 1993, but quickly moved on to the Houston Astros. He would stay there for six seasons, before being traded to New York. With the Mets, Hampton was crowned the NLCS MVP as he guided them to the 2000 World Series. In 2001, Hampton was rewarded with a huge contract with the Colorado Rockies. Hampton would be traded to Atlanta, where he is struggling to come back from injury after he had been one of the best pitchers in the National League, indicated by his two All-Star appearances.
