Alan is an all-time Tiger great who has an outside shot at the Hall. He played twenty seasons, made 6 AL All-Star teams, earned four Gold Gloves, while slugging for three Silver Sluggers. Won the 1984 World Series MVP, as the Tigers defeated the Padres four games to one, after sweeping Kansas City in the AL Championship series.
