Mr. Carlton was a great guy. Got to meet and hang out a little bit with Steve in the Umpire's clubhouse before he threw out the first pitch. Almost as cool as eating a hotdog with the Phillie Phanatic. Almost.
His WS rings were almost as amazing as his stats; inducted in 1994, Carlton racked up 24 Seasons pitched, 329 Career Wins, 4136 K's, ten All-Star Games, and an amazing four Cy Youngs ('72,'77, '80, '82).
