Roberto was the first round draft pick, sixteenth overall, in the 1986 draft by the California Angels. He has pitched for sixteen seasons with eight different teams, compiling a 64-68 record, a 3.32 ERA, and 326, good enough for tenth All-Time and third on the active list. Roberto was a two-time AL All-Star, in 1996 and 1999.
