Bergman spent eight seasons in the Major Leagues, compiling a 39-47 record with the Tigers, Padres, Astros, Braves and Twins. Made his debut on July 7, 1993 and saw his final Major League action on June 17, 2000. He was a Southern Illinois Saluki and was drafted by the Tigers in the fourth round of the 1991 draft.
